This album beautifully describes the transformation of its hopeless protagonist into a woke mofo. These tracks confront the self-doubt and isolation of living in the 21st century while leaving listeners with the confident exuberance it will take to overcome our collective troubles. It is difficult to pick a favorite track, but I'm a sucker for the fiddle. So I'm going to go with the slow, sad One Solution which takes me to a back porch rocking chair, eyes closed with all my woes.

Just discovered Sam Wilkes and some of his work and bass playing, and arrived to this record. It reminds me a lot to John Hassell/Eno era a bit more jazzy, and all the ambient music from the 80’s. I love it!
